The Mission Continues!

In the remote coastal villages and underserved communities of Bangladesh, where poverty, isolation, and frequent natural disasters leave many children and families without hope, the Light for Life Mission Initiative is bringing light, love, and lasting transformation in the name of Jesus. Through the Ghoraghat Light for Life home, vulnerable children are being rescued, nurtured, and equipped for a bright future— receiving education, health care, emotional support, and spiritual discipleship. At the same time, on Bazua Island and surrounding areas, the Gospel is advancing as new churches are planted and lives are changed. Your partnership is making this vital work possible, turning despair into dreams and darkness into hope for the next generation
Care for Child Development at Light for Life Home
At the Light for Life Home, we follow a holistic approach to child development that nurtures every aspect of each child's growth—educational, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.
Educational Development
Education is a top priority. Many children arrive with limited or no schooling. Through dedicated academic support, school enrollment, mentoring, and supervision, every child is now actively engaged in formal education. The children have moved from darkness to vision. They now dream of becoming teachers, doctors, police officers, army officers, bankers, football players, and business professionals.
Health and Nutrition
The Home provides regular nutritious meals, health monitoring, hygiene education, and medical care. Children who once struggled with poor nutrition and health are now growing well, staying active, and full of energy. Balanced meals rich in protein and milk have made a visible difference in their physical development.
Emotional and Social Development
In a loving, family-like environment, the children are building confidence, discipline, cooperation, and strong social skills. Through recreation, sports, cultural activities, and community engagement, they are forming positive relationships and healthy self-esteem.
Spiritual Growth
Spiritual development is central to our care. Children participate daily in prayer, Bible study, worship, and Christian fellowship. Several children actively join church worship, lead prayers, and sing Gospel songs with joy. Thank you for helping transform these young lives with hope, opportunity, and faith!
The Light for Life Home has become far more than a shelter—it is a place of restoration, growth, and lasting transformation. Through your support, we have been able to:

Outreach on Bazua Island: Advancing the Gospel in a Remote Coastal Region
Bazua Island, located in the coastal Dacope Upazila of Khulna District, Bangladesh, is a remote and underserved area. Communities such as Laudobe, Bazua, Kolaganj, and Banisanta face significant challenges, including isolation, poverty, limited education, and frequent natural disasters. Many remain unreached with the Gospel.
Five years ago, with your support through the Light for Life Mission Initiative, an outreach ministry began on the island. By God’s grace, the work has grown steadily. Today, three local churches have been established, and four dedicated church planters are faithfully serving— sharing the Gospel, discipling new believers, and planting more churches among unreached communities.
As the ministry expands, there is a pressing need for a permanent Church & Discipleship Training Center in Bazua. This strategic facility will serve as:
- A central place for regular worship and fellowship
- A training hub for pastors, lay leaders, and church planters
- A venue for discipleship classes for new believers
- A base for community outreach and evangelism
- A gathering space for youth, women, and children’s ministries
