Student Ministry at The Rock

At the heart of our student ministry is a culture shaped by Christ, one that values authenticity, unity, and purpose. The way we speak, serve, and show up reflects the kind of culture we’re building. It's a culture where students can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out their God-given purpose.

What We Do

We partner with parents to create spaces where students can grow in their faith, develop Christ-centered friendships, and become leaders in the Body of Christ.

As Rock Student Leaders, we’re called to set the tone—in our words, actions, and attitudes—both during student gatherings and in everyday life. It’s more than a role; it’s a commitment to serve, to lead by example, and to create a space where students feel seen, valued, and encouraged in their walk with Jesus. These expectations help us lead with humility, consistency, and passion.

Become Rock Students Leader

Requirements

  • You must be at least 20 years old to serve in High School Ministry
  • You must be at least a high school junior to serve in Middle School Ministry
  • You must be background checked (18+ only)
  • You must attend The Rock Church for at least six months.

Steps to Join

  • Fill out the Serve Team Application
  • Complete a background check (18+ only)
  • Complete an interview with the Rock Students Director
  • Review the Serve Team Policy Manual and the Student Ministry Handbook
